Product Owner (Cherry Team)
We are Semrush, a global IT company developing our own product – a platform for digital marketers.
And this is our Product Owner (Cherry Team) role for those who know how to build a successful product development strategy, appreciate communication with users, and are ready to conquer the international market together with the team.
Tasks in the role
Building product strategy and data strategy.
Creating a product roadmap for the long term (1-2 years) and short term.
Forming product hypotheses, defending, and testing them.
Identification, elaboration, and prioritization of requirements.
Maintaining the product backlog.
Monitoring and analysis of product metrics.
Interaction with data providers, development, and marketing teams.
Conducting product planning and PBR in the development team.
Protection and regular synchronization of product strategy with business representatives.
Communicating product plans to company employees.
Who we are looking for
High level of product analytics knowledge (and experience in applying it).
Experience in quantitative and qualitative research.
Experience in setting goals for the development team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to delve into and make sense of a new subject area (SEO, in our case).
English level—Intermediate and higher.
Fluent in Russian.
Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and a Product Owner role.

Technical background (understanding of databases and algorithms).
A bit about the team
The Cherry Team is developing EyeOn—a service to monitor competitors’ marketing activities. At the moment, it tracks activity on a competitor’s site (blog posts, new pages on the site), as well as off-site (Google Search Ads). In the future, it will be possible to track backlinks, social networks, Brand Mentions, and other sources to display the actions of competitors to the fullest extent.
This product is designed primarily for CMOs, marketing strategists, and all those in charge of marketing strategy.
