Team Lead (Tiger Team)

We are currently looking for an experienced Team Lead (Tiger Team) for our Semrush Local Unit in the Tiger Team.

We are rapidly growing our toolkit for local SMBs, and we have achieved impressive results. If you would like to lead a team of engineers and provide them with technical guidance and mentorship and also take part in the development, deployment, and delivery releases, we'd love to speak with you!

Tasks in the role

  • Lead, coordinate, motivate, mentor, and establish the feedback loop for the team.
  • Set goals and expectations for developers and QAs and monitor their performances.
  • Take part in development, deployment, and delivery releases.
  • Proactively take part in product and development discussions and advise the best solutions.
  • Produce architectural design and keep track of technical decisions.
  • Guide the team to successfully meet their objectives.
  • Continuous monitoring of already released features and reacting for alerts.
  • Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
  • Participate in a code review session.

  • Experience with leading a team.

  • Strong expertise in Java.
  • Strong expertise in Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of architectural design patterns and principles.
  • Experience with web-based applications.

  • You know MongoDB, Google Cloud Platform, GitLabCI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
  • You have experience with message services such as Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • You have experience in separating a monolith into microservices.
  • You have experience in application scaling.

The Tiger Team consists of backend and frontend developers, QA, UI, and UX specialists. All technical solutions for product growth and improvements are made by our team. SCRUM is our base development process. As a result, we have a team of responsible and self-motivated members.
