Sales Strategy Director

And this is our Sales Strategy Director role for those who are goal and success-oriented. This role reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and will have direct involvement in sales strategy creation and executively level alignment across Semrush.

Tasks in the role

  • Manage sales operating system, communication, and facilitate alignment across various fractions of the team. This role will help enable collaboration, strategy execution, and special projects across the organization.

  • Driving strategy, and forming strategic ideas (e.g. experiments) from data, industry best practices and team feedback.

  • Able to be a trusted advisor and brainstorming partner to the CSO.

  • Provide CSO and other senior leaders with insight and analysis of the company’s operations. Lead organization-wide communication strategy.

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation. Will control the tracking of the project portfolio.

  • Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives.

  • Identify and provide recommendations on improvements across the organization.

  • Thought leader who leads change management initiatives throughout the GTM organization.

  • Provide independent, informed, and unbiased insights, including gathering on-the-ground feedback.

  • Coordinate and keep contents of a meeting focused and ensure all follow-up tasks are completed.

  • Plan and lead meetings, off-sites, and workshops.

Who we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience managing teams.

  • Five or more years of experience in a sales operations analyst or sales management role.

  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.

  • Experience in project management, planning and leading strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity.

  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation.

  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management.

  • Proficiency using SFDC, Tableau, Excel, Powerpoint, and/or similar reporting and analytic tools.
